The Sound and Light Show, which illuminates the sphinx and pyramids, is considered one of the best tourist attractions in Cairo.
The show begins with the tale of the Sphinx, who has been the vigilant guardian of the city of the dead for 5,000 years. The Sound and Light show will depict the building of the pyramids, as well as portraying the history of famous figures from ancient Egypt. These include Thutmosis IV, Akhnaten, Nefertiti, and Tut Ankh Amon.
