HIGHLIGHTS for Private Annapurna Tour
Day 1 – Pick up from airport Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel at Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time either make some sightseeing around Kathmandu valley or world heritage sights or you rest in Hotel. Evening introduction with the guide and discuss about the trek.
Day 2 – Drive from Kathmandu to Syange 1,120 m. We start our driving from Kathmandu crossing the valley as well as Trishuli river. Having lunch on the way we will reach Syange after 6 hours and 207 kilometer.
Day 3 – Start our trek to Bagarchhap.Our journey to Bagarchhap at 1,700 m, 6-7 hours. Amazing terrain and views along the way.
Day 4 – Start our 14 kilometer journey to Chame at 2600 m. 4-5 hours. Start getting precaution to get protected from cold as well as altitude.
Day 5 – Trek to Pisang 3190 m, 14km, 4-5 hours. Walking in a totally changed atmosphere through pine forest. Visit Pisang monastery situated on the hilltop enjoying the sun set view.
Day 6 – Trek to Manang 3,500 m, 16km, 6 hours. Either you can continue the upper trail which is difficult by lots of ups and downs. The views are worth your exercise. The lower trail is more flatter and wider and the view is not bad as well.
Day 7 – Acclimatization day in Manang Acclimatize yourself. Go to Ice lake for 6 hours or the little hilltop across the river just above Gangapurna lake or the little monastery of the lama called 100 rupee lama who blesses you for the success for crossing Throngla.
Day 8 – Trek to Ledar, 4,200 m/, 10 km, 3-4 hours. It is a semi-strenuous trek, slowly letting your bodies acclimate to the elevation gain.
Day 9 – Trek to Thorong Fedi/or High Camp, 4,850 m, 11.3 km, 4-5 hours. The path is quite steep up then flat and down to cross the icy river through suspension bridge and climb up till the one and only tea shop there and continue walking till Fedi. Listen your body here and make decision either you stop here and walk an extra hour tomorrow by starting at 4 a.m or staying on high camp to save your stamina for tomorrow’s high pass.
Day 10 – Across Thorong La Pass 5,414 m and Trek down to Muktinath 3,810 m, 8-9 hours. Need to start early morning. About 4 km straight up to reach Throngla at the height of 5414 m. You are at the top. Start your downhill journey about 10 kilometers to Muktinath. After 10 am the path will be very windy here.
Day 11 – Trek down to Jomsom, 2800 m, 15km, 6 hours. Visit Muktinath temple before breakfast. It is very popular temple among Hindu as well as Buddhist people come to practice here from far away. Explore 600 years old monastery.
Day 12 –Fly Pokhara 900 m and drive to Kathmandu, 200 km, 6 hours. The mountain weather permitting, we start early morning to catch our flight to Pokhara. Drive to Katmandu. Fare well diner to be held in farm house in the country side of Nepal, with the family.
Day 13 – Final departure. We will drop you to Tribhuban international airport by private transport. Three hours prior time of your departure.
