South Omo – untouched Culture: The southern region is a unique place for diversified ethnics with their untouched culture. To mention some, Surma & Mursi (both ethnic’s women cut their lips to insert the clay plates as a sign of beauty), Hamar (also spelled as Hamer), Bena, Konso People, Bume, Nyangatom, Karo People, Arbore People, Dassenech People, Menit, Dizi People & etc practice amazing tradition & culture. Bull Jumping ceremony is being performed by Hamers- frequented between Septembers – October and at random time before/after the main rainy season (February – April).

DONGA – stick fighting is being performed by Surma people – most probable on every September. Markets in the upper and lower Omo are unique and worthy to be visited. Travel to South Omo, discover culture in Omo River Regions, Tour in the Rift Valley (Omo valley), and visit Omo Park, Mago Park, Nechisar Park, Lake Chamo for Hippos, Nile Crocodiles & White Pelicans.
