Archaeological Heritage of the Lenggong Valley
Lenggong Valley is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE ,with evidence of present of hominid history outside Africa from 1.83 million ago. This is the most impostant heritage site in Peninsular Malaysia. It also house the most complete skeleton of the Perak Man ( at Lenggong Archaeological Museum ), which was about 12,000 years old, with archaeological artifacts which reflect the social and cultural background of that period.
