Start. Meet your guide at Al Ras metro station
1. You will start your culinary journey in an authentic and cozy restaurant.
Smell & feel the history of this place with a traditional tasting of Riqaq – Emirati pancake flavored with cheese or eggs. You will also try delicious Tabbouleh & Moutabal. Tabbouleh is a classic dish from the middle east and it is served with a side of Moutabal, a tasty citric spread. Combine them on a Khubz (Arabic bread) and experience a unique mix of flavors like no other.
2. Go to the Spice Souk.
Here, you’ll have dates with a twist: covered in camel milk chocolate!
3. Before you hop on an abra (traditional boat).
Take a sweet break with a delicious saffron ice cream scoop at the parlour. Enjoy a ride to the other side of the city where you’ll catch stunning views of the Dubai Creek.
4. Next enter an authentic Arabian restaurant.
Indulge in a camel burger or as the locals call it, a “hump burger”. This is definitely a must-try when in Dubai. Cholesterol free and lean – a tasty and healthy dish for you to enjoy!
5. Continue to an authentic heritage restaurant with an outdoor deck.
Taste the lemon mint juice and a portion of stuffed vine leaves. The drink, also called limonana is a mix of electric citrus with fresh mint. Enjoy the amazing views!
6. Last stop will be at the Coffee museum.
Learn about the origins of coffee and try traditional Arabic or Turkish coffee prepared by staff in traditional costumes.
