The Dead Sea, Israel

Einot Tsukim

By Amit Musaei, independent tour guide in Israel

Einot Tsukim is a surprising desert oasis. At the bottom of the Judean desert cliffs lies the Dead sea, because of a fast shrinking of the Dead sea, the recent few decades allowed bubbling water to be on ground. The water flows toward the Dead sea but some of it flow into bathing ponds which allow desert travelers a nice refreshing bath both in summer and winter.

This nature reserve has also wild walking trails accessible by few tour guides, and I was chosen lately to have the keys to the “hidden reserve” within Einot Tsukim.
