HIDDEN NATURAL ATTRACTIONS IN THE MOST EXOTIC WEST JAVA

By Azahita Journey to Indonesia, independent tour guide in Indonesia

Stretching from the coast of Indramayu in the north to Pangandaran in the south, from Sukabumi in the west to Kuningan in the east, West Java is one of the provinces with the densest population in Indonesia.

In the 5th century this region was part of the Kingdom of Tarumanegara, which was continued by the Kingdom of Sunda with the capital Pakuan Pajajaran (now the City of Bogor). And in the 16th century stood the Cirebon Sultanate which still exists today. No wonder that West Java is rich in traditional heritage and noble culture that is maintained neatly.

Located in the Pacific fire ring, the area that has several active volcanoes is also often called Parahyangan or “the place of residence of the gods” because the famous landscape is so beautiful and unique with a distance not too far from Jakarta or Bandung.

From the lake at the top of the mountain to the white sandy beach, West Java has so many spectacular natural wonders and it’s a pity to miss.
