Saint Petersburg, Russia

St. Petersberg Neva Cruise and Bridge Opening 2 hours Boutique Tour

Peter the Great established the city in 1703 with the building of the Peter and Paul Fortress, intending it to be his ‘Venice of the North.’ Saint Petersburg is honeycombed with historical canals and more than 300 bridges, all making a cruise along the Neva river wonderfully scenic and interesting and the drawbridges of Saint Petersburg are probably the most spectacular, so much so that their opening at dawn has become a real tourist attraction of the city. Your private guide will tell you the history of the Neva, it's bridges, channels and Saint Petersburg’s founder, Peter the Great.
