Let us begin our two hour Montmartre walking tour at the most famous cabaret in the world – the Moulin Rouge – to discover a truly bohemian neighborhood in Paris. We will follow cobblestone streets to the highest point in Paris, the Sacred Heart Basilica (Basilique du Sacré-Coeur), which offers a breathtaking view of Paris and a moving history about French Christian faith. Along the way we will be discovering the location of the iconic Black Cat cabaret ‘Le Chat noir”, the famous bar from the film Amelie, Van Gogh’s home, Toulouse Lautrec’s studio; the celebrated Moulin de la Galette, immortalized by Renoir; Picasso’s Bateau-Lavoir studio where he created his masterpiece “Demoiselles d’Avignon”; Montmartre’s vineyard, producing the unique Clos Montmartre, the Café Lapin Agile and of course the world known “Place du Tertre” where contemporary artists propose their own creations or to create your portrait in 20 minutes.
