If you are in Paris for several days you have absolutely to make an escape in Loire Valley. This 12h Loire Valley Guided Tour offers you the possibility to discover three of the most famous Chateaux of the french renaissance times.
If time permits you can also enjoy a wine tasting and the visit of a local winery.

 

We leave Paris at 7:00 in the morning. The day starts with the visit of Chateau de Chenonceau. Dating from the 16th c this is my favourite Loire Valley Chateau. It's history was marked by the mistress of the king Henry the II : Diana and his wife: Catherine of Medici. The Ladies Chateau (another name of Chenonceau) is through the design the decor and the beautiful flowered gardens the translation of the feminine 16th c taste.
From Chenonceau we will drive to Leonardo Da Vinci house: Chateau du Clos Lucé. The italien master will introduce us in his mysterious world through his house, gardens and ingenious researches present there. After your lunch (i have several adresses for you), driving to Chateau de Chambord we will stop(if time permits ) for a wine tasting at a local winery.
Our last stop will be Chateau de Chambord (built by Francis I ), the second largest palace in France, in which stone labyrinth, we will look for the key of the secrets hidden in the decor and history of this astonishing place.
