Muscat city tour is a great way to experience the combination of modern life and historical heritage. Oman is one of the few countries that still retain its traditional roots & ancient customs. In this beautiful city you can visit the historical attractions and the modern tourist attractions.
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque will be a very good start in our tour. It was officially opened on May, 2001. The mosque shows the amazing architectural style of the Islamic arts, the incredible decorations, spectacular crystal chandeliers and handmade Persian rugs.
Then our next stop at Bait Al Zubair Museum will show you the development of Oman there you can have an overlook on Oman past & present life. After that we proceed to the most interactive traditional markets its Mattrah Souq. You can also enjoy the view of the waterfront cornice where you can look out at the Gulf of Oman. Before we take you to the traditional shops to have a look on the Omani traditional textiles, antiques and jewelry we will have a quick stop at the fish market.
Al Alam Palace is the official residences of the His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said. It’s a charming palace located in the middle of public residence. It is surrounded by the Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts on two sides. Tourists not allow entering the palace because it’s not open to the public you are only allow to walk around and have photos outside the palace. Finally we are going ahead to your hotel as our city tour is already ends.
