Duration: 7 to 8 Hours

At 08:00 am we depart the hotel and proceed to Nizwa. Our tour will start with a visit to Nizwa fort which was built in the seventeenth century. Its shows the amazing architecture of that time in Oman. Then we will have a visit to Nizwa Market. The variety of merchandises is the most special factor of this Market. You can visit species market, silver handicrafts where you can get traditional omani jewellery & khanjars (daggers). This Market is very famous of the animal auction which is held every Friday early morning but to attend this auction you have to start the tour around 6 am in the morning.

After that we will drive towards Jabel Akhder in our way we will pass through Birkat alMauz village. Birkat Al mouz was famous of banana plantation & in Arabic language banana is Mouz, that’s why it’s named Birkat Al Mouz. The village still maintained its structure even though the locals have been abandoned for long time ago but for the meantime a lot of the foreign workers lives there. In this tour you can see one of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE calls falaj alkhtmain.

 Then we proceed to Jabel Akhder by driving over approximately 36 km. Jabel Akhder ( green mountain) is 2000 m above the sea level. It’s famous with its climate, fruit farms & now a days it’s very famous with the luxury resorts. We will be visiting wadi bani habib, saiq & al ain. March & April are considered as the season of the rose’s bloom which is used to produce rose water. Our last stop will be for traditional lunch. Finally we return to Muscat.
