FIRST DAY
Dar – Mikumi
Following the breakfast, we leave Dar es salaam for our first stop at Mikumi National Park a 5 hours drive from Dar via Morogoro Refreshments and light snacks will be provided en-route.
We will arrive in Mikumi national park at 1:00 pm. This often affords one an opportunity to see the animals at rest, seeking shelter from the unrelenting heat under the branches of large trees.
The day concludes with checking into the Cottages/Tanswiss Hotel and back out on safari for a drive of close to 3 hours Until Sunset.
We return to the Cottages/Tanswiss hotel where dinner awaits us at the hotel between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m.
SECOND DAY
Mikumi National park
An early morning departure from the hotel/cottages is strongly advised for a better chance at spotting lions. A departure of 6:00 a.m. is recommended. We’ll be back at the hotel between 8:00 and 9:00 for breakfast and afterward, drive for another game drive until Mid-day time.
After lunch, we then drive to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro.
