On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport we meet you and transfer to Mount Meru Game Lodge at the suburb of Arusha City. Later our safari manager will come for detailed safari briefing and leave you to spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoy the lodge’s facilities & the game sanctuary.

After spending your first night at the fabulous countryside of Arusha on the foot of Mount Meru, your Tanzania honeymoon safari will start by driving to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. This small and ever green park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife park with lot of underground water streams feeding the Lake yearly around. Park’s varied habitats attracts a larger number of animals which includes herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra elephant, giraffe, hippos, and countless birds including flocks of flamingos, pelicans, Egyptian geese & other forest birds. Predators like leopard, hyenas, jackals & the park‘s famous tree climbing lion can be spotted sleeping on branches of acacia tree.

After Lake Manyara you will proceed to the Serengeti National Park en-route you will visit one of the Masai village at Ngorongoro highlands, some Masai warriors will invite you and take you in and around their small houses with some stories of their nomadic life around this area. From Serengeti you will spend an inspiring time in Ngorongoro crater a truly and magical place. This prehistoric caldera wrongly called a crater was formed from a distorted volcano, which left in its rouse an enormous Crater of high walls of about 600 meters. Today this crater acts as a natural sanctuary populated with massive animal species which including hippos, elephants, zebras, eland, topi, wildebeest & the rare black rhino in their natural habitats.

Another surprise to this picturesque crater, is its dense population of predators, which includes cheetahs, leopard, hyenas, jackals & the prides of lion. You will drive around Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake located at the southwestern corner, which is among the features of the crater. Some flocks of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.

After a Great safari adventure we will take you to the white sand beaches of Zanzibar Island where you will spend most of your time relaxing, soaking up the sun or cooling down in the shade while drinking a cold beer, juice or immature coconut juice local known as Madafu. Day 1: Arrival Day

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Distance: 120 km

Non game viewing time: 2 to 3 hrs.

After breakfast meet your safari driver guide & depart for Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Distance: 145 km

Non game viewing time: 3 to 5 hrs.

Depart for the Serengeti National Park just after breakfast with en-route stop at one of Masai village for some cultural encounter before driving to Naabi Hills gate & check into Serengeti. Break for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot before proceeding to the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive. Late afternoon drive to Serengeti Camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti
If you wish As early as 06:30 leave with breakfast box and lunch box for an early morning game drive in the vast Serengeti plains to where the Wildebeest Migration is packed, you might spot cat family on the road as they avoid morning mist or nocturnal animal coming back after a long night of hunting or a group of lioness planning a hunt or a hard of buffalo lazily grazing before getting hot. Break for breakfast in the bush and proceed with game drives until afternoon. Take your lunch break at Soronera visitor’s center and afterward a little rest before embarking on your afternoon game drive. Late afternoon before or during sunset drive back to your camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Distance: 95 km

Non game viewing time: 2 to 3 hrs.

After early breakfast you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater with en-route game drives and ascent 600 meters into the Crater floor for wonderfully game viewing. Break for lunch at the pool side picnic site. After lunch embark to your afternoon game drive & late afternoon drive out of the Crater & Ngorongoro conservation Area to Endro Lodge near Karatu town for Dinner & overnight.

Day 6: Karatu – Arusha – Zanzibar

After leisurely breakfast at your lodge it is time to get a fully paid complimentary massage at the Massage Spa (if you wish) then start on your way to Arusha where you will catch your flight to Zanzibar Island at noon. On arrival at Zanzibar airport met our representative and transfer to the Pongwe Beach Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – 10: Zanzibar Beach Holidays
You will spend these days at the beach choosing between the numerous water sports on offer at the Resort and relaxing at the beautiful Pongwe Beach Hotel.

Day 11: Zanzibar Beach – Zanzibar Stone Town
After spending 5 Nights in the white sand beaches of Zanzibar on this day we take you to the famous Zanzibar Stone Town as you cannot say I have been in Zanzibar without experiencing the old part of Zanzibar with its narrow lines “The Stone Town”. In stone town you will have one night at Tembo House Hotel standing at the front part of the Stone Town.

Day 12: Departure
After breakfast at the lodge and depending on your departure schedule we transfer you to Zanzibar airport to catch you flight back home with Great memories of your honeymoon Safari in Tanzania.
