Tel Aviv and Jaffa Day Trip

We start our visit in the Visitor Center in Jaffa to get familiar with the long and fascinating story of this ancient port city. Named after one of the sons of Noah, the place where to the cedars of Lebanon arrived to build the Temple, and Jonah's journey started.

Visiting St. Peter's church and recalling Peter's vision on the top of Simon the Tanner's house.
Have a view of Tel Aviv from the Hilltop Garden with the statue of "Gate of the Faith". Travel back in time at the excavation site of the Egyptian Ramses gate.

  • Wander in the winding streets of the old city scattered with charming art galleries and workshops.

  • Enjoy a coffee break in the port of Jaffa and then continue towards Mahmoudiya mosque and the Clock Tower. One of the most interesting attractions is the Flea Market, where you can practice bargaining, taste fresh pomegranate juice and find antique treasures.

  • We continue our trip to Tel Aviv and to the first neighborhood outside of the walls of Jaffa: Neve Tzedek. We can trace back the fascinating story of the pioneers, visiting the first railway station transformed into an elegant commercial complex and the Suzanne Delal dance theater.

  • Tel Aviv the White City, and UNESCO world heritage site, with the largest concentration of Bauhaus buildings in one area. We go on Rothschild Boulevard, discovering International and Eclectic Style buildings and visiting the Independence Hall, where Ben Gurion declared the establishment of the new state in 1948.

  • Arriving at the Rabin Square, named after the assassinated prime minister of Israel. One of the most moving events in Israel's history.

  • Alternatively from Rothschild Boulevard we can continue our walking tour to Sarona, another amazing period from the history of the land, connected to the religious German Templers.

  • Tel Aviv is a home for many museums and galleries. In previous agreement we can include your choice of interest. Few examples: Hagana Museum, Rabin Center, Diaspora Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, etc.

  • Last, but not least: Tel Aviv is famous of its bustling nightlife, talking about the youngish bars of Florentine neighborhood, fancy restaurants of the Tel Aviv Port or the flamboyant parties of gay clubs
