These walks are an excellent way to view the park and get up close and personal with the animals giving you a different perspective than game driving in a car. Don’t worry, you’re perfectly safe! You’ll be spending the evening relaxing by the fire under a start filled sky with the sounds of the wilds of the savannah echoing around you.

Day 4 - Ostriches and hot springs

This morning you’ll be up bright and early to take an extensive game drive out into the northern sector of the national park. You’ll be accompanied by a Uganda Wildlife Authority range to help to search the savannah and scrub for a variety of wildlife but particularly for the flocks of ostriches found in the region. You’ll then head back to camp in the mid-afternoon to relax and enjoy the dramatic scenery of the plains and mountains of Uganda’s true wilderness, or if you want to continue your game driving you can head back out onto the savannah of the Narus Valley with your driver/guide. You’ll be able to spend until sunset on the plains before heading back to your camp for your final night in Kidepo Valley National Park.

You’ll be making it as far as Gulu town in the late afternoon.
